4. Event Participation
MindBody Expo events are free and open to all ages. No ticket purchase is required. By attending an expo event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of risk: MindBody Expo events feature physical activities including but not limited to yoga, Pilates, Zumba, fitness demonstrations, dance, and movement workshops. Participation in any physical activity is voluntary and at your own risk. You are responsible for assessing your own physical condition and consulting a healthcare provider before engaging in activities that may be strenuous.
Tampu Project Inc, its board members, volunteers, vendors, instructors, and venue partners are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or health issues that may occur during or as a result of event participation. By attending, you assume all normal risks associated with physical activities and public gatherings.
Fully vegan policy: MindBody Expo is a fully plant-based event. All food, beverages, samples, and products offered or distributed at our events must be 100% vegan (free of animal products and byproducts). Attendees are asked to respect this policy and not bring non-vegan food items into event spaces.
Code of conduct: We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or violation of our non-discrimination policy is not tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove from the event any person whose conduct we deem objectionable, unsafe, or incompatible with the spirit of the gathering. This decision is at the sole discretion of event organizers.
Children and minors: Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the event. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the supervision and safety of the children in their care.
Photography and recording: Photographs and video may be taken at our events for promotional purposes. See Section 6 (Intellectual Property) for details. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify event staff upon arrival.
5. Vendor & Volunteer Terms
Vendors: Businesses, practitioners, educators, and organizations interested in exhibiting at MindBody Expo must submit an application through our website. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Booth terms, space assignments, setup instructions, and any applicable fees are communicated separately to accepted vendors and are governed by a vendor agreement provided during the onboarding process.
Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and permit requirements related to their products, services, and activities at the event. All food vendors must adhere to our fully vegan policy and any applicable health department regulations.
Volunteers: MindBody Expo is a volunteer-run organization. All volunteer positions are unpaid. Volunteers typically commit to 3-hour shifts on event day, with orientation provided in advance (either in person or via written briefing). Orientation covers event layout, zone assignments, emergency procedures, and the code of conduct.
We welcome volunteers of all experience levels. No prior event experience is required. By signing up as a volunteer, you agree to complete your assigned shift to the best of your ability, follow the directions of event coordinators, and uphold the values and policies of MindBody Expo. We reserve the right to decline volunteer applications at our discretion.
