About MindBody Expo

Grassroots, volunteer-run, and fully vegan. We have been bringing free wellness gatherings to South Florida since 2013.

Vibrant community gathering at MindBody Expo with vendors and attendees connecting outdoors
Our story

Grassroots since 2013

MindBody Expo was founded in 2013 by Sandra Tribioli, a longtime Delray Beach resident and wellness advocate who saw a need for a free, family-friendly gathering where conscious businesses and the community could meet face to face.

What began as one small expo in a local park has grown into a beloved South Florida wellness tradition. Each season, over a hundred vendors, educators, healers, and performers come together to share their gifts with the community, always at no cost to attendees.

Today, CEO Emilia Lujan leads the organization under Tampu Project Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity. The entire operation runs on volunteer energy: there are zero paid staff, zero paid board members, and every dollar raised goes back into producing bigger and better community gatherings.

Our mission

Every dimension of wellbeing, open to all

MindBody Expo exists to make holistic health accessible to everyone in South Florida. We believe that wellness should not be a luxury, and that community is the most powerful medicine there is.

Whole-person health

From plant-based nutrition to sound healing, every zone supports body, mind, and community in one place. We bring together practitioners, educators, and makers who treat the whole person, not just symptoms.

Planet-first, fully vegan

Every vendor, every dish, every sample at MindBody Expo is 100% plant-based. We champion sustainability through composting demos, green living vendors, and a commitment to low-waste event production.

Open to everyone

Free entry, all ages, kids learning zones, and space for every body and every background to belong. We remove financial, physical, and cultural barriers so wellness can truly reach everyone.

Governance

How we are organized

MindBody Expo is produced by Tampu Project Inc, a Florida nonprofit corporation recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Every role is filled by an unpaid volunteer.

Volunteer Board of Directors

A three-member volunteer board governs Tampu Project Inc. All officers serve without compensation ($0 salary, $0 stipend). The board meets quarterly, reviews financials, sets the strategic direction, and ensures the organization stays true to its charitable mission.

Active Committees

Committees carry the day-to-day work: Vendor Outreach recruits and supports conscious businesses; Programming schedules healers, movement instructors, and speakers; Operations manages the site, permits, and volunteer crews on expo day. Every committee chair is a volunteer.

Annual Community Meeting

Each year the organization holds an open community meeting where volunteers, vendors, and community members review the past season, vote on proposed board members, and shape priorities for the year ahead. Public notice is posted at least thirty days in advance.
